#s 2-5...Amazing!!! Haven't been to the SCAN website in a while...I have been missing out.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to browse for and link www.scandpg.org/news AND http://www.scandpg.org/nutrition-info/nutrition-info-for-consumers/ to Google Reader? I tried but couldn't.
Thanks!
Brandon
Brandon,
ReplyDeleteI don't know the answer to your question, but I will try and find out. As soon as I know, I will post the information here.
Marie
Brandon,
ReplyDeleteThe short answer to your question is not right now. We would need to generate an XML feed for those pages.
The longer answer to your question is that the Website Development Task Force is always looking for ways to improve the website. It seems that generating an XML feed for those pages would be a good idea since we have new content generated on those pages. I'm not very familiar with Google Reader. Could you (or others reading this blog) briefly explain the ways that you use this feature? Thanks, Marie
Marie,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for checking on that for me. I use Google Reader as my information gatherer for all things nutrition, exercise, Sports RD related. I have created different folders to gather information from various internet sources to help me streamline my information without having to go to each individual website. All updates or new information posted is sent to my Google Reader (i.e. nutrition and exercise journals, blogs, twitter, website updates, etc). I learned about it on the SCAN listserv. In fact just added the SCAN Blog!
These are wonderful resources. Thank you so much for such a great, concise blog post on these awesome benefits.
